KOTHISALA NACHA

KOTHISALA appears to be the most rural from of Folk-dance. Its main instruments Kula (winoing item) and Handi (earthern Pot), accentuate its rural and rustic form of performance. The other accompanying instruments are, Mrudanga and Harmonium etc. The story that leads the dance is mainly mythological depicting different episodes, of the epics.
